HI, I’m Paulina “krata” Zybinska, a creative technologist active in the field of coding, interactive installations, live visuals and machine learning. In my practice, I engage with the ethical and psychological dimensions of AI and synthetic media. Previously, I worked as a research associate at the Zurich University of the Arts, teaching in the department of Interaction Design and leading a research project “Me to the Power of Two” on the therapeutic potential of Deepfakes.
As a guest lecturer at FHNW, HSLU and HKB, I offer insights into creative and critical applications of machine learning, as well as technology as a medium for artistic research. Under the name “krata” I perform live visuals with a practice rooted in live coding and real-time improvisation. Furthermore, I curate audiovisual events with my collective unsorted.
